Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Live GP collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain — no surprises.

1 · What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

  • Account data — name, email and password (stored hashed).
  • Preferences — favourite driver/team, notification and display settings.
  • Demo subscription state — plan, status and demo access period for the current Fake Pro product-testing flow. This flow does not collect payment-card data.
  • Operational request data — limited technical information needed for security, rate limiting and reliable delivery.

2 · How we use it

We use your information to provide and personalise the Service, manage the current demo entitlement, send notifications you opt into, prevent abuse, and operate the product securely. We do not sell your personal data.

3 · Cookies

We currently use essential cookies for sign-in, session security and request protection. The current application does not set non-essential analytics cookies and therefore does not present a cookie-consent banner. If that changes, this policy and the consent controls must be updated before those cookies are enabled.

4 · Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate (for example hosting and email delivery) under contracts that protect your information, or where required by law. We never share your email with advertisers.

5 · Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting reasons.

6 · Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can manage most of this from your profile settings, or email us to exercise any right.

7 · Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe and will notify you of any breach that affects you as required by law.
